PastChasok Tangnam gathering 2025
Community hall, Kathmandu
Example past event — the first edition of the gathering, kept here with a report and a small photo album to show how a finished event reads.

Across the chapters
Example event — a two-month push to record elders of the clan, running until the culture page and the archive fill out.
Ninglekhu/kuनिङ्लेखु/कुᤏᤡᤱᤗᤣᤂᤢ
A Yakthung clan of eastern Nepal, documented to a stated standard: every claim carries its evidence grade, disagreements are shown as disagreements, and what is not known is published as plainly as what is.

Limbus counted in Nepal at the 2021 census — 1.42% of the country

open questions, each published with what would settle it
निङ्लेखु is attested as a Limbu thar on two independent lists and printed in a national newspaper. The first element of the name has a solid dictionary basis. That is the whole of it, and it is said with sources.
Mundhum recitation, the knowledge of phedangma and samba, the songs of Ya:lang. Tradition is published as tradition here — authoritative about what is held to be true, and marked as such.
A shared family-line register, recorded interviews, and photographs of the papers in your house. Most of what is missing from this site is not in an archive — it is in a memory or a tin trunk.

3. Das Limbuwan — the ten thums of the Limbu country east of the Arun. Which one the Ninglekhu/ku belong to is not recorded anywhere: it is open question 2.
ᤏᤡᤱᤗᤣᤂᤢ
The clan name in the Sirijunga script — our own transliteration, and open question 24 until a Limbu-literate reader confirms it.
